A beautiful EAPG Daisy and Button with Crossbars vaseline butter dish.  I have checked this out and it does glow with a black light.  I have also read there are no reproductions for this pattern.  This pattern was made by Richards and Hartley Flint Glass Co. in the late 1800's.

The top is in very good condition, one very tiny bite on the outer rim.  The design on the bottom side of the base is very sharp, there are a few small chips to those sharp points in the outer area (shown in the more photos).  The rim for the lid to sit around has no chips that I feel.  The outer rim of the base has some very tiny bites on the raised seam that is there.  There is a factory flaw in the base of this dish.  there is an area of small black flakes in the glass.  They show very well in the photo, but honestly, it depends on what the background is.  Just picking the dish up and looking at it, they don't stand out.

The base of this dish is approx. 7 1/2 inches across, and 1 1/4 inches high.  The lid is 5 3/4 wide and 5 inches tall when sitting on the base.
