Description

A very nice old Bible dated 1882, published in London.  The Holy Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments: Translated out of the original tongues; and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by his Majesty's special command.  Appointed to be read in Churches.

On the first page John Davis has signed and dated July 21st 1883.  Inside the front cover are names and dates for Davis and Trebilcock families beginning 1896 until 1987.

The book cover is black, the front cover is loose in the crease but still attached, edges are worn.  The back cover is worn in the crease, and the spine has some cracking and wear.  The pages are tight, some light spotting.  There are 1564 pages. 

This bible measures 4 1/2 x 7 inches and is 2 inches thick.
